In order to receive anything good we desire in life, we have to be open and available to experiencing and expressing more of the qualities we associate with God, Spirit, or the Divine.
Good doesn't come to us randomly, or because we beg and plead with God to give us things. Good can only manifest in our lives if we are inwardly receptive to the qualities that create it -- and these are the qualities of the Divine.
Our consciousness can be so focused on "what's missing" or on the acquisition of more material things, that we can forget that All Good comes from Spirit within, and in order to participate in that Good, we need to cultivate an inner consciousness of receptivity to the qualities of Spirit: love, bliss, peace, right action, Oneness, abundance, joy, and harmonizing prosperity.
